Purchase of 'Amelia Lee'

Purchase complete on GRP vessel 'Amelia Lee' from neighbouring club - Caradon.

With the idea of launching a new gig rowing club, things soon started to get serious with the advertised availability of 'Amelia Grace.' Familiar with the vessel, I made contact with the powers that be at Caradon, a couple of viewings and financial negotiations later, the vessel was hand delivered to Queen Anne's Battery, generously inclusive of all ancillaries required to get the ball rolling. Caradon were even kind enough to lend us some launching trollies until we could have our own commissioned and fabricated. 'Amelia Grace' was to be our first vessel, to help build an initial membership base! Well made, but heavy in lay up, she has proven a real work horse to date, giving us the opportunity to get people out on the water and introduce them to the idea of membership.
